Yin Yoga

& Meridian Points

Yin Yoga was created in the 1970’s by Paulie Zink, a martial arts champion & a Taoist yoga facilitator.

together with Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers Yin yoga was born.

Yin yoga improves pliancy & flexibility in the joints & the fascia through its soft longer holds.

Yin is complimentary to a yang lifestyle and supports the parasympathetic system, physical, mental, emotional, energetic & interpersonal balance.

This floor-based class, combines the qualities of gentle movement with the added benefits of a restorative practice through Yin exploration.
Under the direction of the facilitator, the class will be guided by a slow & intentional sequence.

The flow then shifts into stillness where you will hold a 4-5 Yin shape for 3-5 minutes. These longer holds will assist with moving stagnate energy up & out of the body, safely working the connective tissue, which in turn aims to strengthen & improve pliancy within the body.
During the class, we will explore Traditional Chinese medicine, while focusing on the meridian points.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga can be traced back to the 15th century in India.

Hatha yoga is a physical yoga & translates to Ha-Sun & tha-Moon, uniting positive & negative & concentrates on the 3rd eight limbs of yoga, the Asana (Physical)

This gentle yoga flow, is designed to bring fluidity between the body & mind…


During this class we will focus on the uncomplicated/simple & traditional Hatha Vinyasa linage, Ashtanga foundations fused with my personal spicey style so you can cultivate your flow state…

You will have the time to focus on a routine which will help you to develop and grow in confidence, movement, balance & breath, thus creating a flow state….
